赵秦,毕业于南京艺术学院获学士学位， 2002年毕业于中央美术学院研究生班，后又获得南京大学硕士学位。2013年进修结业于英国伦敦金士顿大学创意设计专业。受聘为中国艺术研究院研究生院副教授。先后任教于中央美术学院、中国书法院、南京大学海外教育学院等。

Zhao Qin earned his Bachelor's Degree at Nanjing University of Arts. In 2022, he graduated from the graduate class of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, then earned his Master's Degree at Nanjing University. In 2013, engaged in advanced studies in Creative Design at Kingston University, London, UK. He is the vice-professor of the Academy of Arts of China. He taught at Central Academy of Fine Arts, China Calligraphy Academy, School of Overseas Education at Nanjing University, and others respectively.

赵秦，三十多年间从未间断地使用胶片拍照，柯达，富士，还有中国产的乐凯。喜欢用中画幅相机中的哈苏Hasselblad、禄来Rolleiflex、玛米亚Mamiya，还有中国产的海鸥。这三十年，是胶片摄影经历大起大落的过程，但这对赵秦没有太大影响。他始终醉心于胶片所具备的特殊质感和光感，积累了众多目光所及的风景、人和事，追求自然，并透出东方特有的一种禅境。Zhao did not stop taking photos with films for more than 30 years: Kodak, Fuji, and Lucky made by China. He likes to use medium format cameras such as Hasselblad, Rolleiflex, Mamiya, and Seagull. These 30 years are when film photography is being challenged, yet it does not affect Zhao. He is devoted to the special texture and light that films contain. He gathered views seen by many eyes, people, events, and pursued nature, and shows a special Zen mode that is special to the Orient.

赵秦 近三十年坚持使用胶卷拍摄的摄影师，严谨、谦虚、低调，追求简约生活。他的坚持与自律创作的精神，近三十年如一日从未间断过创作令我佩服。赵秦的拍摄深厚又不失自然气息，是静心研习创作的一位艺术家。

Zhao Qin is a photographer who persisted to photograph with films. He is strict, humble, unostentatious, and pursued a simple life. His persistency and spirit of creation that lasted for 30 years as one day makes me respect a lot. Zhao Qin's photos are profound while keeping signs of nature. He is an artist who focuses on creations with a calm heart.

冬日 Winter Day

观众留言：一个普通的场景，没有任何惊艳的地方，拍出来的效果却让观众看得流连忘返，意犹未尽。整个构图均匀，层次清晰，疏密有致，由近及远，曲线直线搭配适应，稳重当时中不失活泼。水中倒影、水波纹的细节增添画面的丰富感，但又不喧宾夺主去干扰目光。尤其是近景中地上躺着的一根树木，打破竖线条的单调。偏黄的色彩，感受到寒冷冬日里的温暖。这张作品创造出画面以外的故事感，让人的脑子产生一连串兴趣：这个普通的地方是哪里？看上去是人工打造出来的，用途是什么？四周有居民吗？…….读照片，就如读故事。

Audience Comment: An ordinary scene without any surprises, but the effect of the filming makes the audience linger. The entire composition is uniform, the layers are clear, and the density is consistent. The details of the reflections and water ripples in the water add richness to the picture, but they do not distract the eyes. Especially a tree lying on the ground in the close-up, breaking the monotony of vertical lines. The yellowish color allows the feeling of warmth in the cold winter. This work creates a sense of story beyond the picture, and a series of interests arise in the mind: Where is this ordinary place? It looks man-made, what is it used for? Are there residents around? …… Reading photos is like reading stories.

归鸦 Returning Crow

观众留言：画面右侧“挤进”眼帘的远处的两个树，画面正前方道路中间的那棵树，以及地面绿色植物的渐隐渐现，打破类似图片的单调，呆板，体现出摄影师视觉所及的新意。再加之捕捉到归鸦入镜，一幅原本静态的画面变得动感起来。以黄色为主的色调，穿插少许天空的白色，密集当中留给观众可以自由喘息的舒缓。

Audience Comment: The two trees in the distance that "squeezed into" the eyes on the right side of the picture, the tree in the middle of the road in front of the picture, and the fading green plants on the ground break the monotony and rigidity of similar pictures, reflecting the photographer's vision and novelty. Coupled with the capture of the crow into the lens, a static picture became dynamic. The color is dominated by yellow but interspersed with a little white of the sky, leaving the audience to breathe freely.

寒湖 Cold Lake

观众留言：这一片水是怎么形成的？是湖泊吗？为什么要保留中央的一小点土地？难道是水位异常升高仅剩下水中央的土地没有被淹没？近景中枯枝叶的暖色在一汪中的冷蓝色中很是出挑，吸引目光。整个画面看起来简单清爽。

Audience Comment: How did this water form? Is this a lake? Why is there a bit of ground kept in the middle? Is it because the water level rose so only this area did not get submerged? The branches and dead leaves in the foreground are outstanding and eye-catching among the ice-blue water. The whole image looks simple and refreshing.

静影 Still Shadow

雪意 Snow's Story

观众留言：选景、构图、色彩让人有身临其境，寒气逼人，甚至瑟瑟发抖的感觉，近景明镜般的河水与中景皑皑积雪相结合创造出刺骨的寒冷；远山的轮廓让平淡而普通的的场景有了新意，带观众对画面以外故事的满怀向往。视线从图片底部的植物丛延伸至水中树木倒影，再至树木本身，再从树木底部向上攀爬，到达树巅，最后到达远山的轮廓。在视线一步一步移动的过程中，关注到右侧的房子及其周围的物体、以及白雪覆盖的大地，和更远处的树丛。

Audience Comment: Scene selection, composition, and colors bring the audience into the image. The cold is irresistible, it even makes the audience shiver. The mirror-like river in the foreground combines with the snows in the middle ground to form a cold that freezes the bones; the profile of the mountains in distance brings new ideas to the dull and ordinary scene, inspiring yearnings for stories outside of the frames. Eyesight moves from the plants at the bottom to the shadows in the water, to the woods themselves, then climbing up to the treetop, and finally reaches the profiles of the mountains. While the sight moves step by step, it saw the house on the right and objects that are surrounding, including the snow-covered ground and trees in distance.

雁渡 Goose Migration

观众留言：多条线条引导视线远去聚焦到一个点；大雁的人字形排列、沟渠上的桥梁横在远去的线条之上，让“滑”向远方的视线稍作停留，仿佛刻意要减缓远去视线的速度。水面密集的漂浮物，陆地的绿色植物，树干下部白色的防护物等细节都很精彩，让被引导线“用力”拉向远方的视线多一点“留恋”，莫走得太快。

Audience Comment: Multiple lines guide the eyesight to focus on a single point; the herringbone arrangement of geese, the bridges on the ditch are above the line of going-away so that the sight stops for a while as if deliberately slowing down the speed that the sight leaves. The dense floating objects on the water surface, the green plants on the land, and the white protective shields at the bottom of the tree trunks are all wonderful details, so that the sight that is "forced" by the guideline to the distance is more "lingering", and is being pulled back from going too fast.

七彩 All the Colors

Audience Comment: Black shadows, brown rocks, blue sky, the photographer intended to express their colors. The texture of the rocks, the jagged edges of the rocks, and the shadows are particularly impressive too. And the lines of the rocks are also tough and impressive, giving a sense of vicissitudes. Excellent photographic works can make audiences produce psychological changes from the material level of the recorded elements themselves and enter the spiritual level.

云乡 Village of Clouds

观众留言：分区非常明确，右边密集，左边舒缓，形成强烈对比。右边的材料整齐有序规矩，有理性之感；而左边的售卖人面带微笑，自然的表情，放松的坐姿，感性成分更多体现出来。一些细节比如售卖人的耳机线，膝盖上的十指交叉，几处文字，方格衣服行人的出现，让画面更加丰富生动，以柔软抵消了原材料的硬质。

Audience Comment: The zoning is very clear, dense on the right and soothing on the left, creating a strong contrast. The materials on the right are neat and orderly, with a sense of rationality; while the vendor on the left has a smile, a natural expression, a relaxed sitting posture, and more emotional components. Some details such as the headphone cable, the fingers crossed on the knee, a few texts, and the appearance of the pedestrian in checkered clothes make the picture richer and more vivid, offsetting the hardness of the raw materials with softness.
