Tonle Sap in Cambodia is the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. In the rainy season, it covers an area of up to 10,000 square kilometers, with a maximum length of 500 kilometers from north to south, a width of more than 100 kilometers from east to west, and a depth of more than 10 meters. The vast expanse of Tonle Sap, with her broad heart, nourishes the land and people of Cambodia, which is known as the Mother Lake of Cambodia. Before the coming rainy season, we followed a tour group and came to the Tonle Sap Lake to see the true portrait. Because it was still in the dry season, the lake is not deep, and the depth near the shore is generally only about 1 meter. The propeller of the tourist boat easily stirs out the yellow mud at the bottom of the lake, with many other boats, the water became like the color of the Yellow River. However, what really moved us was not the lakes and mountains, but the local children who have a hard life that is sustained by the lake.
