阎明罡 Yan Minggang

出生于四川成都。现任融楼艺术馆馆长、中国传媒大学南广学院美术与设计院客座教授、中国工艺美术家协会会员、中国工艺美术学会会员、民盟中央书画院南京分会理事、江苏甲骨文学会理事、江苏省美术家协会会员、江苏省书法家协会会员、江苏省收藏学会会员。

Born in Chengdu, Sichuan. He is now the president of Ronglou Art Gallery and the guest professor at the Nanguang College of Fine Arts and Design of the Communication University of China. He is a member of the China Arts and Crafts Association and Chinese Arts and Crafts Society. The director of Nanjing Division of Central Arts Academy, and The Society For Studies of Oracle-Bone Inscriptions Jiangsu. He is a member of the Jiangsu Artists Association, Jiangsu Calligraphers Association, and Jiangsu Collectors Association.

阎明罡，江湖人称“老九张”，该戏称源于其朋友圈每天不间断更新的九张图。图内容繁杂，种类多样，既有雁落平沙，也有渔樵问答。得益于微信的点赞、评论功能，我们能够看到许多有趣的问题、感悟和评价。其中，问的最多的是“在哪拍的”，得到的回复往往是提问者耳熟能详的地方。鸟多是常见的类型，情态却总能触发联想，“仙风道骨”“憨态可掬”皆有之。每周一组的美食，让人垂涎，“又放毒了”，内里是“热腾腾的人间烟火”。看了景物，诗兴大发的，来一句“孤影沙洲，芰荷残冬”；看了人物，玩性忽起的，来一句“壮士暮年，嗜睡养生”。关于光、影、色调的留言，间或有一些很有意思的表达，譬如“梵黄”“海青”。评论区如此热闹，除了作品本身的专业性和趣味性之外，可能更多是因为其所展现的内容大都是我们身边司空见惯，又是不具备一定的审美能力和敏感度所不能发现的。阎明罡的作品正是带上其独有的审美滤镜给斑驳的时光剪影，把日常生活中稍纵即逝的平凡事物转化为不朽的视觉图像，供观者思考品评。

Yan Minggang, also called "Lao Jiu Zhang" because he always posts nine photos on social media. The content is very rich, including board landscapes and leisure lives. Benefiting from the Thumbs Up and comment function, we get to see a lot of interesting questions, feelings, and comments. Among those, the most frequently asked question is "Where was the photo taken", the answer is usually one of those most popular places. The birds are comment type, but the mood brings imagination. The weekly post on food turns people into cravings. The posts of landscape inspire poetry; the characters inspire playfulness. Comments about light, shadow, and color always have interesting expressions. People in the comment section are so active, besides the professionality and fun of the works themselves, what were presented to us are ordinary objects that were not discovered because of a lack of certain sensitivity to aesthetics. Yan's works filter what is in our daily life and turn them into immortal visual images.

近处的角，像是高举着的双手，虔诚与敬畏的感觉，被石块围绕在中央；远处是平静的水面，起伏山峦，白云。凹凸与有序形成了一种鲜明的对比。

The horns in the foreground are like two hands raised, with piety and awe, being surrounded by stones and rocks; in distance, is calm water, rolling hills, and clouds. Convex and order form a stark contrast.

The color of the distant view is in contrast with the color of the close view. The eyes are attracted from near to far, and gradually fade away layer by layer, and finally, focus on the white clouds in the sky.

水面与地面相接形成的线条，部分陆地的线条在水中露出，消除了平静水面的单调。

The lines formed by the connection between the water surface and the ground and part of the landlines are exposed in the water, eliminating the monotony of the calm water surface.

层峦 Mountain Range

观众留言：层次感强烈，由近及远层层推出。线条感同样强烈，盘山公路的曲线，山峦的曲线，都在对视觉形成冲击。山峦“V”字底部被摄影师安排在偏左位置，比起其在中间更显生动。盘山公路有平滑的“V”之感，被安排在中间，有被往右“拉”的感觉。两个“V”形成连贯游走的动态，且达到一种画面的平衡。公路围栏的绿色线条是吸睛的小细节。

It has a strong sense of layers, pushing near to far. The lines are so strong：curves of the road, of the mountain, they all impress the eyes. The "V" formed by the mountains is placed to the left of the center by the photographer, making it more lively. The road that surrounds the mountain has a smoother "V" shape and is placed in the middle, giving a sense of being "pulled" to the right. The "motion" of the two "V" balanced the image. The green lines of the road barrier are also an eye-attracting detail.

车站 Bus Stop

观众留言：光与影令视觉很舒服。视觉元素安排得均匀、有序。横线条、竖线条搭配划分画面很和谐。两位男士坐姿，让观众感受到对公交车到来的盼望。公交车站背后的一位穿着红衣走路的人的动态与两位男士的静态有一种内心里的对比。走路的人被光影分割，小小的份额，妥妥一枚的增加画面感的配角。摄影师按下快门的时间把控很好。

The light and shadow look comfortable. Elements are arranged evenly and in an orderly manner. Horizontal and verticle lines match harmonically. The two men's postures express anticipation for the bus. The person in red behind the stop is in a walking motion, which contrasts with the still poses of the men. The pedestrian is sectioned by light and shadow, which is a solid character that adds points to the photo. The time that the shutter is pressed is very nice.

晨 Morning

观众留言：光的运用很棒！让人以为是“晨雾升腾”，而聚焦。摄影师取景的独特，让石板路与马路形成的线条和形状，以及右侧墙与窗的线条形状都是令人悦目之处。整幅作品，简明，重点突出，线条感，图形感很强。

Light is excellent! It makes people think that it is the morning fog rising and condensing. The unique scene selection, the lines and shapes of the stone tile and road, and the walls and windows on the right are all eye-pleasing points. The photographer has a very good imagination, seeing boats as "dew". The elements in this work are abundant. The clouds in the water are like "fairies visiting earth". Unique scene selection. When appreciating photographic works, we are not only looking for what is being recorded, the arrangement of the negative space is also important. Ording them is always a challenge to the photographer.

Similar model as the previous work, the arrangement of the negative space is important. But it is more flowing.

雏 Newborn

The baby bird is surrounded by leaves, creating an environment, better than a single bird awkwardly in the image unless the purpose is just to be artistic. The focus is on the bird but also on the negative space around it. The photographer again demonstrated his ability to arrange negative space. While the liveliness of the baby bird shows his control over the time to press down the shutter.

船家 Boatman

观众留言：视觉元素非常丰富，被安排得有序，均匀。一些看似杂碎的小物，入镜却并不违和，反而恰到好处。这是摄影与绘画的不同，摄影可以记录任何东西，只要是符合视觉需要。

The visual elements are very rich and arranged in an orderly and uniform manner. Some seemingly trivial things do not violate harmony in the camera but are just right. This is the difference between photography and painting. Photography can record anything as long as it meets visual needs.

老太的站立与老头只露出很少部分的身体，正好是一种对比，主与次的区分，同时，两人又形成和谐统一又完整的画面。这幅作品灰色运用得很好，很有层次感。

The standing of the grandma and the small part of the body of the grandpa is a contrast. The subject is clear and they form a harmonic scene. The color gray is used nicely and shows many layers.

花季-尼泊尔 Flower Season-Nepal

观众留言：视觉元素丰富。摄影师不仅善于选择入镜的元素，且善于把复杂的元素安排得有序、均衡、和谐。对于细节的处理也是得心应手。一个传统的场景，因为，白色电线、右边女子涂抹后的指甲的入镜，不露痕迹的融入了现代的气氛，带给观众对神秘尼泊尔的一点点新认知。因为花的遮挡，一个疑惑产生:两个女子在共享耳机吗?摄影师想留给观众一个怎样的故事呢？

It has rich visual elements. The photographer not only is adept at selecting what goes into the lens, but he is also good at organizing complex elements. He is amazing at processing details too. This is a traditional scene but because of the white earbuds wire and the painted nails, the image seamlessly included modern vibes, bringing some new understandings of mysterious Nepal. Since the flower blocked the vision, we question if the two girls are using the same earbuds? What kind of story does the photographer want to leave to us?

老王 Wang

观众留言：因为“隔壁老王”这个生活中的梗儿，让这幅作品变得非常有趣，充满想象力：隔壁老王，你在瞅什么？不得不赞叹摄影师对生活与艺术的融合能力。

Because of a popular catchphrase, the title makes the work interesting and full of imagination. It is hard to not compliment the photographer's ability to combine life and love.

画面左侧密集的直线条，与画面其余部分的舒缓是一个很好的对比，是否也是摄影师以此来衬托老王此刻或紧张或激动的心境。老王露出的一点蓝色的衣领，右手扶膝盖的身姿，都在体现此时老王的“忘我”，调动了观众想了解隐含着故事的情绪。

The dense lines on the left are good contrasts with the spread-out composition elsewhere. Will this be an indication of the nervous or excited mood of the character? He shows some of his collars, and his right hand holds onto his knee, all these reveal his "focus", inspiring the desire to learn the story behind it.

秋山 Autumn Mountain

观众留言：摄影师将取景点稍微的放低一些，便把说很普通很普通的场景记录得很有震撼力，就此与其它的作品区别开来了。

The photographer lowered the vantage point, turning a simple scene into something impressive, distinctive it from other works.

因为取景点的改变，摄影师创造出几何线条和形状。这幅作品的色彩、景物片段选择层次分明，逐步把观众视线拉向远方。右上角的树枝增添了减缓视线流直接向远方的曲折。

秋水 Autumn Water
