What suffered heavy blow during the period between 50s and 70s last centuary, escpecially during the Cultural Revolution, was the feudalist culture or ideology that oppressed the working people in China for more than two thousand years. The core of the said culture is to maintain  a hierachical order for the deudalist society and not let the working people rebel against the expoiting class and social system. So, it deserves no sympathy.
