有网友称，陈水总坐上公交后来回几趟，坐到集美大桥下车又坐回来，然后挑了一辆满员车作案。本报记者独家采访陈水总家人得知，8日上午，大批警力进入其家中搜查，并拎走了一包塑料物品，但家人并不知道里面装有何物。陈水总妹妹说，因为年龄被派出所写小了一岁，不能及时办理社保，陈水总已经上访了3个月。

邻居：他伤害了“底层百姓”

陈水总的家位于厦门思明区局口街24号。在局口街尾端，有一个长5米的小巷子，里面有一个四合院，房子十分破烂，有多个住户。当地居民介绍，陈水总家就在这儿，他纵火烧公交的事，已经传遍了局口街。不少邻居认为陈水总做法过激，伤害了和他一样的“底层百姓”。

一位50多岁的何姓住户介绍，陈水总性格较内向，不大喜欢和人打招呼，别人也不知道他一天都干什么，因此给人留下“怪”的印象，街坊不太喜欢他。有报道称，因为嫌吵，陈水总曾1天9次报警投诉邻居。但他很少和人正面冲突。

陈水总家人并不愿谈起陈水总的事情。有邻居说，8日上午，有记者试图采访其家人，还差点发生冲突。8日下午，本报记者在陈家采访时也发现，其家人很忌讳谈起陈水总，对不少问题都回答：“这个事我不知道，你们去问派出所吧！”陈水总二哥坦言，他和弟弟关系不睦：“陈水总性格不好相处，家里有一台电脑，有时候还抢着和女儿上网。”但问起更多，二哥也不愿多说。

小摊被取缔丧失生活来源

知情邻居说，陈家兄弟姐妹七个，陈水总排行第三，他和妻子都没固定工作，日子过得紧巴。他们还有一个女儿。

陈水总的妹妹住在陈水总隔壁。陈女士介绍，哥哥陈水总上世纪70年代曾下乡劳动，直到1983年才回到厦门，但是政府部门没有给安排工作，只能打零工度日。上世纪90年代，陈水总在家门口开了一家汤圆店，后来因为没执照被取缔。1994年，陈水总才娶了媳妇。

最近几年，陈水总多在附近打一些零工糊口度日。其间，还开过一间摊口只有半米宽的“麻糍”小摊，但最后又被取缔，失去了生活来源。

陈女士说，从3月份开始，哥哥就已经开始“上访”，主要是陈水总认为自己到了60岁退休年龄，想办理医保、社保等社会保障，但辖区的中华派出所将陈水总的年龄少写了一岁，不予办理。陈水总思想负担很重，在派出所、市信访办等多个部门寻求解决，但跑了22次派出所都没办成，“总被推来推去，没有人给办理。”

家人称存有相关出生证明

记者在署名“陈水总”的微博上发现，他坚称，当年回到厦门的时候，派出所将自己的年龄少写了一岁。

其妹妹也证实，陈水总确实是1953年生，现在已经年满60岁。陈女士说，家中现在还存有陈水总的相关出生证明，但“现在不适合给记者看，因为不信任任何人”。记者提出到陈水总屋中拍照，也遭到其姊妹拒绝。“他一辈子过得很苦，但有自己做人的原则，也从来不问政府要低保。”陈女士说，“但也不能欺负老实人，他到60岁了够退休年龄，就想办个社保而已，没必要为难他。”
